Continuing Professional Development

Continuing professional development (CPD) is an important means for all professionals to maintain and develop their knowledge and expertise.  For many professionals, participating in CPD is a regulatory requirement.  It is the responsibility for every professional to make themselves aware of their CPD requirements, including the number of hours they need to complete and the categories or types of CPD this is to include.

Reading risk management articles may count towards your required CPD hours.  Therefore, reading articles found on RiskHQ may assist you to achieve these required hours.

At the completion of reading a RiskHQ article, you will have the opportunity to send yourself an email which can be kept as a CPD record.  When doing this, you will be asked to estimate how long you have spent reading and reflecting on the article; means that during and after reading the article you’re expected to reflect on your business and consider what changes you might implement based on what you’ve learnt.
